Central High
Combined Class of 1937 Reunion
60th Year Class Reunion

The 60th reunion of Butte Hi and Central Hi was a huge success. The weatherman gave us
a beauty of a day for the luncheon at Bob Poore's house overlooking Butte from the west
side. Saturday afternoon was spent at the revamped MOTHERLOAD THEATER. Many memories of
the old days at the Fox. On Saturday night we gathered at the Country Club for a real
reunion with a great dinner, followed by a dance with George Grosbeck providing the
music.. It was the best ever getogether. Certinally we will do it again on our 65th and
70th !!!
P.S. Many thanks to the great crew that made it a GO.

The 60th Class Reunion was a tremendous success. One hundred people were present for
the banquet on Saturday nite.
Outstanding features were a Pasty Luncheon hosted by Bob and Pauline Poore at their home.
A 1932 Pierce Arrow Automobile owned by Bob Poore and chauffeured by the Director of the
Mother Lode Theatre, picked up Howie Wing, our chairman and his wife Cathy. A great idea
but they ran out of gas before reaching the banquet site.
The orchestra was hired to play for three hours - 9:00 PM until 12:00 PM.
At 10:45 only two people were still in Attendance. A commentary on our years. The two left
were Norma and me.
Butte Central joined us in the reunion, Their chairman was Bob Evans.
The class of 1937, after paying all expenses was able to make a contribution to the Mother
Lode Theater in the name of our deceased classmates.
